Alamosa, Colorado, home of the San Luis Valley. Nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there, ha ha (although I did for 30 years) Even though it's Colorado, it's more like a desert area with few trees, lots of sage brush. The surrounding mountains make up for the rest though.
