Today's Questions

What do you think is the best invention (or thing) since sliced bread became available? The internet.

Was Elvis a favorite of yours, or was there someone else you preferred? Never was a huge Elvis fan. Loved the Beatles and remember seeing them on Ed Sullivan when I was little.

Will you watch the summer Olympics? If so, what will be your "can't miss" event? Probably won't.

Do you watch Wimbeldon? If so, who's your all-time favorite tennis player. Used to watch it every year. Not so much fav player as fav match and that was Billie Jean King vs Bobby Riggs - she cleaned his clock he was such a jerk

Would you want a nuclear power plant within 10 miles of your house? Oh hell no

[quote=KiwiKate;25068678]It will be in the low 100s again in the NV desert on Sunday -- just about normal for this time of year. I do however hope that relief is in sight for the midwestern, eastern and southern states after such a long stretch of record-breaking highs. (And also because I'm heading for the midwest next week !)
