Good morning peevers.

Miss J has just phoned me from the airport to say that they are back in the UK and telling me where to pick her up from.

She was using a friend's mobile (cellphone) as the battery is very low on her's.

How many times have you found that the battery is low on your phone just when you need it most?

We're going to find out because the POTD is;

Cellphone battery low at a bad time.

I wondered if it'd be possible to make a wind-up mobile like you can with torches and radios?.. or like the watches that you "shake" to keep going, are they kinetic? can't remember.

I just found the answer to my pondering:

Wind-up mobile phone created by UK firm - Telegraph

What a great idea!

Do y'all really call each other " old chap?" That sounds like something Brian Aherne would say. I'm just crazy about Brian Aherne even though he has been dead since 1985.

Yeah, we say "y'all." So who am I to question what is said? LOL

Got to admit, it's a wee JPEG in one of my folders, i had no idea it was going to come out like that..

I have a load of them from many moons ago when i used to print things off in black & white for my daughter to colour in.
