Thanks for the tip Pammy but I can't have a tip jar in my house because my soon to be ex and my sons fingers will always be in it. I do although collect pennies yes pennies and if I see a penny on the ground on the ground I pick it up and I add it to my collection. I have so many pennies now I have to go to my bank for penny rollers and deposit them into my account .
My late mother use to have a Campbell's soup can with a false bottom that she use to save dollar bills in with multiple digit amounts were for special spending sprees and it just blended in with the soup cans. My mother and my late step-father use to take off the highway road trips and this money came in handy since she would rather use this money instead of using their credit cards.
Also, their house got broken into one time when my mom was in the hospital before she died but that soup can was safe in the cupboard on the shelf .
Great tips, Pam. Maybe if I put a jar out someone will toss in a few bucks
Maybe if you sit on a park bench with a jar full of pencils and an empty jar for change, you'll get something.

I have a jar and that is a good habit to put some cash in it. If I really need some change I would get it.
