People make a joke of anything these days. If the guy had been a relative of Scott's, I doubt he would be making any jokes about the situation. I'm amazed at the number of rude comments about very sad stories. The NY Daily News has a number of flakes that routinely post in that manner.

Who's Scott? If my relative did something like this I'd be the first to ship them off to the looney bin. It's beyond crazy. I thought it would make a great Steven King movie.
