Good morning, all, and welcome to Sunday! It’ll be another scorcher here in south-central Wisconsin, and I plan to avoid the sun as much as I can today. I spent several hours on Saturday at the Art Fair on the Square and foolishly neglected to put on sunscreen before heading downtown, so I am a bit of a crispy critter now. But the art was amazing, and I had a grand time despite the results of my oversight.
Enough about that, though – we’re here for our daily conversational fix! So on that note, let’s take some time together to consider:
Today’s Question(s):
What were you doing the last time you got a sunburn?
Been a while...
The sun and me do not mix to well

Used to go to them but not as much as a middle aged adult.

Sometimes we just go to a forest preserve
have lunch, walk the trails enjoy the nature.
Lake Michigan is close by and offers alot.
Bonus Question:
Do you speak any languages besides English?
I know words but not any fluent language
If so, what languages do you speak?
Little Spanish and a little German and a little Polish

Thanks for hosting, today, Midwestern BW!
All is well here in the PNW -- thunderstorms have been passing over, mostly noise with little sprinkles and a few flashes -- nothing noteworthy. We had a great time last night at a friend's paella party -- twelve guests. That is festival enough for me.
Kenmore doesn't have any events, per se, unless you count Bastyr College's Herb Festival and Beer Fest. Seattle has too many to mention (and all too crowded to enjoy). When we first moved to the area in '90 we did one new festival a year, but after a few years we stopped.
The only games I play online are those on my computer: freecell, sudoku, majong, poppit, and bejeweled. I am not much of a gamer.
I worked in Mexico for a couple of years and picked up a bit of "street" Spanish, and I took French in junior high, but don't really speak either. My English seems to be failing me, sometimes. I am adopted and my ancestors haven't made themselves known to me.
Thanks for brightening my day, everyone. It's always fun to come here and learn more about your worlds.
God bless you all. LFM 8)
