The only time I can remember standing in the rain and enjoying it was one night in New York City in 1988.
I had been to the cinema to watch 'Big Business' with Bette Midler and Lily Tomlin. I came out, and it was pouring with rain. I was in Times Square, so set off back to my hotel. I ran at first, then realised I was wet through, so started walking. The rain was warm, and I stopped for a minute just enjoying the strange sensation of warm rain.
My favourite flavour combo is strong cheddar cheese, and spanish onion on crusty bread. Mmmmm mm.
This day in 1964 Mary Poppins came out huh? I was 11 years old when I first saw that movie. I loved it of course. The only odd thing I found, was Dick Van Dykes funny voice. I didn't realise he was supposed to be talking with a cockney accent!! Good try Dick, but no cigar......

Today's Question(s): When it comes to public festivals of interest to you (car shows, craft shows, etc.), are you: an organizer a volunteer a participant (exhibitor, vendor, etc.) a spectator None of the above, really. These types of festivals bore me. My city's Popcorn Festival is the Saturday after Labor Day. It draws 80,000 people to our little town, and I like to get as far away from it as possible! Now, if it was a Renaissance Faire, I love being a spectator because there's lots of interesting stuff going on.

My Internet was out briefly yesterday morning, which reminded me that it has gone out three of the Wednesdays since I started doing the QotD! I have two alarms set to remind me to post the Question, so if I don't show up some morning, I'm probably just waiting for the Cable to come back on. Normally I try to get the Q up before 7:00 AM Central Time.
