We call our next door neighbor Nosey Nelly. She has macular degeneration, so her eyesight isn't the greatest, but she'll say something about what she's seen inside your house! We've walked out into our garage to find her standing on our sidewalk with her dog, looking toward our kitchen window. I told hubby that the next time we catch her doing that, we should jump up on the kitchen counter and start..... never mind. ;-) But she often starts a conversation by saying, "Not to be nosey, BUT..."

Best way to deal with a nosy neighbor is to plant a hedge. It takes a while but it's worth it in the long run.I have Leyland Cypresses down both sides of my property they grow an average of about 3 foot a year.I bought mine already at about 5 foot tall so I don't have to wait as long.It was expensive but I will have peace of mind.

Good idea, CabinFever, but it wouldn't deter this woman. She walks up our driveway and peers into the garage (it's customary to leave your garage door open in our community). We caught her one day standing by our lamppost, looking into the kitchen window.

Well if that's not creepy I don't know what is.

I live on a corner lot and we have made many changes to our house. We have had cars slow down and stop just to look into my house and we have had people come into my walkway to look in. How rude is that.
I always have this need to run around and clean off my counters all the time.
When we built our deck, we had to make the railings a little bit higher so we can sit without people staring.
We are not that exciting!!!

Well, this may be a bit off topic, but our wonderful neighbor last Christmas cut our Christmas tree lights because the tree that my kids decorated mistakenly was on his side of the property.

Have you ever considered investing in a firearm or perhaps a couple of attack dogs?

Seriously she sounds like a head case. Have you considered calling the authorities because stalking is punishable by law?
