Default Finally relocated !!!!

We made it!! I am so glad to be back online.
We began our journey on Friday the 15th of Sept. Took us 3 trips in a 26 foot truck to get our stuff here (Florida to Geogia). Have been here 10 days, and absolutely love it !! We have found "Heaven on Earth" (so far). Its not perfect, but it IS wonderful.
Have lots to say but too tired to go on much longer.
Just wanted to say "Hi" and very glad to be back online and at the forum !!

We lived in Margate for over 30 years. Extremely glad we made the move. Never really knew there was so much more to life to explore rather than staying in one place forever. Loving it in Georgia.

Funny as it is, we feel more at home here than we did in Margate. Had flowers on my doorstep the day we were expected in. Very warm and welcoming feeling !

Theqbaby, congratulations! It's always exciting to finally be in the place you've been dreaming and fantasizing about! I remember before I moved to Las Vegas from the San Francisco bay area and I was in bed staring at the ceiling and trying to imagine what my house in Las Vegas would look like and envisioning myself living in it. Then...months later..it was reality! Then I'd lie in bed and stare at my ceiling and think...wow...here I envisioned it, now I'm living it!
Then when I knew I'd be moving to Missouri, I'd stare at my ceiling in Las Vegas while in bed and try to imagine what my new house would be like. Well, finally I found the house and now I lay in bed and stare at the ceiling and remember my fantasies from Las Vegas and think...wow! It's reality and I love it and it turned out even better than I imagined! The only thing I didn't like was driving from Las Vegas, Nevada to Springfield, Missouri in my Tacoma...my butt ACHED by the time I got to Texas, but though I stopped overnight in Amarillo because it was dark and I was hungry with two cats in the cab who needed food and a potty break, I found myself driving through Oklahoma the next morning with my left foot bracing my weight so I could lift my butt off the seat to relieve the pressure!!!! I'm sure I looked funny, but dang, I hate long drives Again, congratulations on your new home
