Oh I would gladly surrender to be a hostage in North Carolina!!! thefer, we got here Saturday and will be here for three weeks, I am just checking in about once or twice a day, trying to stay off and enjoy being with my husband in the mountains. Today is our 13 wedding anniversary. The fall color is not great, but we don't care, the mountains are here and still beautiful!!! I will post pictures when I get back home.

That's wierd,I just tried to give ILNC a rep point and it told me the same thing.

This is really gross but I saw a dead coon on the side of the road this morning and I thought of ILoveNc. Glad you made it ok and are enjoying the mountains. It feels like it is going to snow here in the foothills. Hope you took some warm clothes.
Can't wait to see the pictures.

Oh that is funny because I saw a dead coon today too It's not cold in Maggie Valley, it was in the 70's today, but not hot and humid like the awful weather in Houston.

I'm sure the road will reheat it.

ugh! When the road reheats it, it swells up!
Have you ever tasted coon? My Dad would go coon hunting when I was small and we would keep it in a pen for about a month and feed it table scraps and mother woud bake it. Taste like greasy chicken.
