Good morning, kids, and happy new year!
Scroll on down for Today's Tip.

BEST HANGOVER CURES

I thought I'd make Today's Tip short and sweet and provide you all with
some hangover remedies recommended by Health Dot Com. The article
below dispels a lot of myths and gives some good, common-sense solutions
to the problem. Eat light and stay hydrated, for one. Don't follow the
hair-of-the-dog mentality: instead of a Bloody Mary for breakfast, have
plain tomato juice.

There's no scientific evidence that pills marketed for hanover relief actually
work, so save your money.

If you're a regular coffee drinker, try a small cuppa in the morning and wait
about an hour to see how you feel before you have more. Skipping it entirely
may result in a caffeine-withdrawal headache. If you don't normally drink
coffee, don't drink some thinking that it will help your hangover symptoms.

Juice, water and sports drinks will gradually help you feel better.

Check out the article for more interesting tips. And if you're a teetotaler, then
Today's Tip is moot!

Good one, PJ! What could be better on New Years Day for maybe millions! I found out just two or three nights ago that half a glass of wine will not help me sleep. Someone suggested it so I got red wine and drank half a glass mid evening. I fell asleep watching TV as usual, woke up between 2:00 & 3:00 as usual and had one hell of a headache. Oh my head! I made coffee and drank lots of water and never got around to taking acetominophen. So I was already following your tip! Worked for me! No more wine! Phooey on that.

I have no hangover! Just fear of what this New Year brings. Perhaps a Valium or Xanax is best!

Well we did some damage last night but I'm not hung over because I drank tons of water before falling asleep. That champagne was so good and chilled to perfection out on the back deck last night. Any tips for not being so tired? I have to pick up the shorties in a couple of hours for a sleep over and ice skating tomorrow. What have I done???????

My favorite hang-over cure is to abstain from alcohol. Frankly, I've never understood the appeal of getting drunk to have fun. How many folks even REMEMBER what they did while they were drinking?

Last night was awesome as I spent it amongst non-drinking friends who really knew how to party
