Hi, kids! Scroll on down for Today's Tip.

GARLIC - WHO KNEW?

Here are two uses for garlic that I'll bet most or all of you don't know:

*If you have blemishes on your face, take a clove of garlic and cut it in half. Rub the
cut surface of the garlic on the affected area. If you do this regularly, the antibacterial
properties in the garlic will help to clear your complexion.

*Have you ever had athlete's foot? Garlic will take care of the problem pronto! Prepare
a foot bath with warm water. Crush a couple of garlic cloves and place them in the water.
Then soak your feet for 30 minutes. The garlic will attack the fungus and will quickly
clear up your feet. After soaking, rinse and dry your feet thoroughly.

For more really cool uses for garlic, check this out.

I don't care how bad my face breaks out, I am NOT rubbing garlic on it! And I shudder to think what feet soaked in garlic might smell like. I love garlic, but not everywhere.

Me, too! I've heard tea tree oil is good for breakouts. I think I'd rather have athlete's foot than stinky garlic foot.

Do you want to know the best remedy for garlic breath? Eat parsley. I'm serious! A few sprigs of parsley neutralizes garlic (and onion) breath and gets rid of "the burps." Parsley in its own right is also very nutritious.

Ouch... I am not sure what is worse: athlete's foot or foot soaked in garlic...

I think, I would rather soak them in onions, since onions are antiseptic and antibacterial - it stinks less

Most people believe that apple cider vinegar or tea tree oil is the best cure. You just need to be persistent.
