What should I dress up as for Halloween?
Any creative ideas? This is my criteria:
1. preferably feminine (I'm very girly)
2. must be modest (I will be wearing the costume to work, and I work with senior citizens)
3. can't spend a lot of money
I'm leaning towards being a Native American Indian, or an angel. Thought about being a cowgirl but I think buying the boots would cost me too much money.
Is anyone else dressing up?

You could go as a nun. And you know, dating nuns is okay, as long as you don't get into the habit.
Or, you could try doing Marylin Monroe-and maybe just use a scarf/turban for your hair and big hoop earrings, red red lips, paint on a mole/beauty mark, and wear something kind of sexy but not inappropriate.

Ways to save $$ on costumes...
Don't forget your local Salvation Army, Goodwill etc...for "inexpensive" costume ideas. Maybe you can find boots there...or if you have a Payless type shoe store in your area, maybe try for boots there too.
A bunch of friends and I went to a Goodwill a few years ago to look for an 'Austin Powers' get-up....the frilly shirt, velvet jacket and pants and 60's boots!...it was hilarious what we came up with and all for under $25.00!
My friend and I are going as 'Hilary and Bill'..."Bill" will be dressed in drag to look like Hillary, with a -Bill- mask... and I will be dressed in a mans suit with a -Hillary- mask...kind of a take on who exactly wears the pants in the Clinton family???...HAHA

I have to dress up for work also I'm going as a pirate, Goodwill is a great place to look for costumes and they are cheap. How about 50's if you don't want to spend anything we did that last year. Rolled up some jeans pulled my hair back in a pony tail some tennie shoes and bobby socks and button down shirt. easy simple and you look cute. Good Luck

How about one of the characters from Hairspray. For Tracy a straight black skirt and a white blouse. Ednas hard to pull off unlss youre a guy or a big gal. Dont forget the little bow in the front of your hair. If youre a little thin. You could still do the hair and be one of their friends. The teased flip is what makes it.
Since youre going to be with the seniors how about dressing up like they would have looked when they were young. .
