I'm turning the BIG 4-0 this year and having a birthday party at a buffet restaurant that isn't charging for reserving a private room. I will be inviting 35-50 guests which will be a mixed bag of people that I'm friends with. I need some creative ideas for games and activities to keep the dinner party entertaining but rated PG Any suggestions as many of the guests do not know each other. Thanks.
Do the adult version of 'pin the tail on the donkey'. It always goes over big.
Here are a couple of websites with party ideas, maybe you can use some of these.

I threw a 40th BD party for my friend Amy and one of the things I asked everyone to do was to stand up and tell how they met/knew her, and a favorite memory of her that they wanted to share.
I also made a giant, overstuffed floor pillow out of denim and brought fabric pens in lots of different colors and asked everyone to write a little note and sign it for her.
I also made up a True/False game with facts about Amy. Going around the room, folks took turns guessing which was the truth.
