Good morning peevers.

Yet another lovely day here.

I do hope that none of you are suffering unduly in any extreme weather.

Rural chick has been kind enough to send me a list of her pet peeves and I will use one of them today. Thanks Chickie!

Have you ever been in the vicinity of someone who aimlessly hums or whistles to themself? The other thing I have noticed, especially when talking to a group of people at work are ones who jingle coins that are in their pocket. Grrr!

I'll write down the peeve in Chickie's own words, and it is;

People who hum and it sounds awful --- it's not even a song.

I don't have a problem with people humming. I have noticed that people usually hum because they are happy; to me, it is a sound of happiness. One of the people dearest to me likes to hum and that wonderful sound would be missed so much should they stop because a careless person complained.

Those photos are spectacular, Jezer!

Once when I was at the gym, there was a woman on the elliptical who had headphones on and was singing in a low voice, but just loud enough to be heard all over the room. Her voice was tuneless and unpleasant, and just when you thought she was done, she would start in again. It was incredibly annoying!

That's a good one. It also brings to mind the question... "What's worse, the 'beeps, squeaks, moans and groans' from loud headphones or their 'beeps, squeaks, moans and groans' as they sing along to it?"

I'd choose the music.. I think. Often the bad singing has a hint of entertainment to it.

No humming here, but I'm sure I've annoyed my neighbor a time or two singing along to something I'm streaming on youtube

Glad to help Jez. I constantly hear people humming and it sounds off key....people around here must be tone deaf!!

I love those pictures. You're so lucky to have that type of architecture readily available to you.
