Did you ever see the Stick play ?
I can still remember (but not to good) watching mantle play in his last couple of years

I think Micheal has been a better exec. than he was a shortstop. I remember waiting for **** to hit # 500; It was a real thrill when he did it. I wish he would have had the benefit of modern medicine and had taken better care of himself. He would have easily been around 650 or more.

He has been a better exec but if you ask a lot of the newbies
they don't even know he played .
As far as Mantle and taking better care of himself
If George was the owner back then he would have said

IT IS ALL BILLY"S FAULT

Decide which forum best suits the topic of the thread you are interested in starting. Then go to that forum and once there you should see "new thread" in the upper left hand corner. Just click on that
You will want a good title so we have an idea of what it is about

Have fun!
