Hello there Rita. I live just south of Laconia. The lakes region is a bit on the expensive side, but there are a lot of little towns around Laconia that are nice and reasonable. Check out the Alton area. It's within a half hour of the lakes and is a small rural town that is fairly reasonable. If you come a little farther south, check out Farmington or Middleton. That's around where I live and the lakes and the White Mountains are only an hour away. The cost of living is high all over NH but these towns are probably the most reasonable. It's funny because I'm about to move to Tennessee in September. I guess no matter where ya are you want to be somewhere else. |

I try to get out when I can. Homework and looking for work take up most of my time. And I got back from San Diego not too long ago actually.

I'm not new -just back again,I was told I would be when I said goodbye in Nov 06. I like the way the forum is set out now with different subjects instead of just one big "other topics" section. Glad to see all the usual contributors are still here and all these gold brickers-amazing
