Default Todays question Wednesday 12-05-07

ok it really is Wednesday

I have to hurry because I have to go to Sam's and pick up a dessert and 3 footballs as soon as I finish posting this.

During this over scheduled and stressful time of year I figure todays question will give everyone a brief moment of "ahhhhhhh wouldn't that be nice"

Todays question:
What is the one vacation you would most like to take ?

Today in history :
1933 - Drinkers toasted the end of Prohibition in the U.S. It had been 14 years between (legal) drinks.

Word of the day:
tarradiddle \tair-uh-DID-uhl\, noun:
1. A petty falsehood; a fib, a lie.
2. Pretentious nonsense.

Isn't this is a great word, just rolls off the tongue
"Now "little johhny" how many time have we told you not to tarradiddle to us"

yup this word is a keeper !!!

Today is National Sacher Torte Day

I have actually thought about this question many times. I have traveled a great deal, but there's always another vista to admire, so I'd like to be able to see the entire world, slowly, over a period of say, 5-10 years.

I'd start out in the East, perhaps China, my least explored part of the World, and travel back in time.

I love the Pocono's, but it's cold! I'd like to be on a tropical beach. So weird, I too, will be buying footballs today.

Brazil. Warm, sunny beaches, tropical rain forests and the scenery isn't bad from what I hear!
