Now, if you really want to have fun, spray some Pledge on the floor, put on some socks and slide away! Used to do this to our kitchen floor and the kiddos had a great time sliding from one doorway to the other, really makes it shiny and really slippery!

.
I tried that once, took hours to get the splinters out from the darn wooden floor.

Now that is a "swiffer" of a great idea!! I use a swiffer mop all the time and those pads can get really expensive so what a great way to cut costs, thanks Pam!

Great tip, Pam. Cheaper and a great way to recycle old gym socks.

Ha! Good idea.

I don't have a Swiffer, but I've been thinking about getting one. Now that I know I can recycle old socks instead of buying replacement pads, I may try it out. I hate using paper or cloth products that aren't reusable in some way.

In this case you need both a dog & a cat! Things will be cleaned up in no time.

Hi Gang,

Glad to see the U.S. is in good form today!

So, if Pam's Swifer trick works with socks and dogs, how about cats? I do need to find some way to use the critters.

For those of you who knit, I have seen patterns at Michael's, as I recall, to make your own washable cover. In my garage I still have my old Fuller Brush dust mop!

Today is Monday, start of a new week and new beginnings. Take time to be good to yourself.
