Good morning peevers.

It's strange not posting a peeve each day, but you know what? Now that I'm doing a peeve but once a week I'm finding it just as hard to think of one!

I've also been short of photos but just for you dear peevers I got up at 5-30 am yesterday morning and headed out to rectify that.

I trust that everyone is as well as they can be. Me? A few aches and pains as you realise that you're not as nimble as you used to be.

Aha! A Peeve!

What kind of activities do you find takes it out of you as you get older?

(Quiet at the back Mike- we don't want to have to put you back in the dog house! )

Me again- bending down for gardening. I've never been that supple.

But this is about you, so let's hear your gripes and groans, as the POTW is;

Oh boy! That didn't used to be that hard to do!

After seeing those lovely photos, my peeve is that I'm here and not in England.

As for the real peeve, I find it's harder than it used to be to crouch down and then get up again. My knees are a bit creaky. Also, if I've been sitting for a while and then get up, it takes me a minute or so to get the kinks out. When I take those first few steps, I look like I've had a few too many adult beverages!

Getting up off of the floor yet I continue to think I actually can sit on the floor without residual issues.

yup-if my knees don't ache, my back surely will.

I can sit on the floor but only when I'm alone. The way I get get back up, well, isn't meant to be seen.

Love those photos, Jezer. I appreciate the time of day too. 5:30? yikes!

Hi Jezer

Good Peeve! 5 minutes is my limit for pulling weeds, dusting...my back screams. Anything with a slight bend hurts.

Nice pics Jezer. Not hard to understand how difficult is was to come up with a peeve each day.

My knees, my back, my neck all hurt making it difficult and painful to do most things. Tying my shoes first thing in the morning is excruciating.

Oh boy! That didn't used to be that hard to do!

Oh boy, where to start, seems like everything from my neck to my ankles hurt in varying levels. Simple chores like yard work, changing a overhead light bulb or stooping down and picking up something requires some thought on how best to accomplish the task.

Oh, the new mattress seems to help.
