Today’s Question:
Do you have a porch/deck ? Does a balcony count?
If so, is it screened in-or open ?
If the balcony counts it is open
Is there an overhang/ceiling ?
There is a ceiling over my balcony.
Does your home have a fire escape (emergency exit) ?
I live in a four story building with about 70 condos. Once I head out my front door I can head to one of 3 stairways or take the sky bridge over to the other building where there are 3 more stairways. If the fire is right outside my door then it is out on the balcony. From there it is about 15 feet down to the ground. However I am not real worried as the building has a fire sprinkler system and is kept up to code concerning fire department regulations.
