Yep, that's what I mean. Don't know that Thompson's water seal would be used on tents either. Point was/is chemicals are still being banned that were intended for these purposes. Seems like Linseed oil is probably used on tents. The canvas tarps don't last forever either. I bought a bunch of Army Surplus tarps they dried out and disintegrated in no time. These new blue nylon or whatever tarps are crap.
