A Cute Story
Watching 60 Minutes. It's about a man and woman who found out they're cousins. He's a white farmer from Missouri, she's black and from Harlem. They met and hit it off. Helluva surprise, huh? Cool.
My wife's little sister (she's white in case you haven't read enough of my posts to know) has been living with a black man for a few years. Her son by a previous marriage has a son and daughter (white). They all went to her sisters boyfriends family get together one year.
While they were there her granddaughter was asked by another child, "How long have you been in the family?" Her response? " A long time!"
She was three.
I chuckle every time I think about it.
