I would try to keep it secret but it would likely appear in the local paper. I would keep it a secret from everyone I know who lives somewhere else.
As for what I would do with it:
Set up education funds for my grandchildren.
Maybe upgrade my living accommodations but not sure about that one.
Travel a little more in the summertime.
Give a generous bonus to my kids.
Set up retirement trust funds for my kids to make their retirement years more comfortable (I doubt if Social Security will still be around when they retire.)
My fantasy trip is to tour Spain and then cruise the southern coast of Europe on a private luxury yacht from Gibraltar to Istanbul--leisurely and stopping at every port of call and island along the way.
