Not the best thing or the worst thing. The weirdest thing. One of those occurrences that you can't get out of your mind? That you can't believe happened? It could be a positive or negative experience - but it has to be weird/odd. Something unique that may never happen again.

I'll share mine later.

One night we just sitting around, over by the fireplace there is a candle holder, it looks like a cage with patterns cut out to make shapes on the wall when lit, it has a door and the candle sits in a jar which sits in a lip to keep it in place, well I hear a noise and look over and the candle and the jar are sitting undernieth the candle holders stand, for the life of me I figure how it could have got out. Spooks I guess.

Well, once I went out with a friend of mine, and we went to the neighborhood bar not far from my house. Well, I guess the bartender was in a horrendous bad mood and cut us off after only 1 drink!! I was drinking an O'Doul's (non-alcoholic beverage)!!! SHEEEESSSH!!

I don't know what was wrong with her, but she treated a lot of other like crap that day too. Soooooo strange...Well, I never went there again, for a while. I asked her the other day and she said that her husband and her were getting a divorce. I told her that I'm sorry and she said she was sorry for the way she acted. I felt really bad for her.

A few summers ago we had a yard sale. One of our items was a bean pot with unique hand painted flowers on it. We sold it and that's where the story should have ended.

But this past summer the Mrs. came home from a yard sale and was proud to show off the books she had bought, some nice old glassware and, of course, a bean pot with really cool hand painted flowers on it. After saying things like "That's nice" and "such unique artwork" I pointed to my initials below the flowers that I had painted on it years before. The look on her face was worth far more than the $2 she had spent on it.

Oh, we had such hilarious laughter over this.

I had a drunk homeless man drop to the ground & kiss my feet, after I answered a question for him at the library (I'm a librarian)... actually isn't that weird for public city libraries, which is possibly the strangest part.

Other than 2007 going by fast, I don't recall anything weird happening, so I guess it was a slow year.

A few weeks ago I was in the kitchen cooking dinner, husband was hovering, son was folding some of his laundry and our cat was asleep on our bed, when I heard a weird crash! Went to see-I thought somebody fell over or something. The top shelf in the "computer room"/whatever room has some old games and newspapers we had saved on it-well ALL of it had somehow flown off onto the floor. A 500 piece jigsaw puzzle, scrabble, things with multiple pieces-no boxes came open or anything. It was like someone tipped the shelf, and everything fell off, except the shelf was still in the same position-well you know, flat, shelf-like! Our house is on a slab, nothing shook it or anything. We still have no idea how that happened. Well, none that are logical.

Since we are into weird phenomena here..the weirdest thing that happened to me this year was one night going to bed late, I was getting into bed and something poked me in my lower back, like a finger. I shot out of the room in one second flat. (or so it felt) lol
The cats weren't in there when this happened. I flipped the light on and went back in to inspect the bed, and nothing was there.

Earlier in the year, while trying to find the bed after a power outage, i had my hands out, trying to feel for the bed, when something poked me in the hand, that invisible finger again. Yes, i ran from the room, bumping into the door on my way out, lol. It's funny now looking back, but it wasn't at the time. So i guess i have a pokey ghost. Anyone want one? I don't.
