Uh..yeah Mike...didn't you know??
We are taking ours down this year on January 6th. My MIL told me about The Three Kings and although hubby and I aren't catholic, we like our fake tree and want to keep it up as long as possible.

I take ours down just as soon as winter ends. It's a live tree, but it's on our front porch and plainly visible from our kitchen and living room. Usually it's around April 1st. I think one year we made it to May. And yeah, we turn the lights on every night.

Yeah, I did that last year. I had packed everything away, then discovered I had forgotten the wreath! Hope I don't forget tomorrow, (I was going to take everything down today, but I got sidetracked with some other thing. Oh well, something to do while I watch the Rose Bowl parade ).

I take my tree down tomorrow. Every January 2nd I take it down. It's time to be normal again (back to a normal schedule, normal workout routine, and back to my normal life again). Now it's time for me to get in shape for spring/summer coming up...WHOOOOHOOOO!!! I'll be glad when it gets warm again...

Can someone please take my tree down for me? Pretty please with a cherry on top?
However, my son did say that Christmas here is everyday, maybe I should just leave it up this year?
Put different types of ornaments to go with the different holidays and seasons?

I took my tree down on New years day. I got it up late this year, usually put it up the day after Thanksgiving, but waited until 2 weeks before new year's.
And the tree is always the same artificial tree until the cats chew it up so bad that I have to buy a new one.

Next house I swear will have a special closet built w/ HUGE double doors. Then I will attach wheels on the tree stand. When it is time to put the tree "up" I will "wheel it out" and take off the covering protecting it. When I'm tired of it I will simply cover it back up and "wheel it back" into the closet.
As of right now the tree and all indoor decorations are still up. Got the yard stuff up last Saturday. Maybe one day next week while the kids are in school I'll get it down and put all up.
