Not being with someone on a big occasion.

Having moved away from family & friends for many years, it's an adjustment to be sure, though we managed to reconnect at least once-twice a year or more, especially for the holidays. Now, the kiddos leaving and on their own was the most difficult for me, and when I told them I was going through the "empty-nest syndrome", they thought that was the funniest thing they'd ever heard! They'll know what I mean one day though with their own!

Great photos Jezer, thanks for sharing and for bringing us up-to-date on Molly, wishing all of you and yours the best always!

It's a real good peeve, Jezer. I've had to miss a few very special occasions because of schedule or logistical conflicts. It stinks! That's why I treasure the times together even more.
