I had parental dropping you off dates when I was younger. I suppose I will say I was 15,
My boyfriend was 17 and we went to a festival. I was several months new to the area, and I could not believe there was an actual festival with the name this one is called...
I knew I had arrived... in the country!!!
But, I do have to say, I am still here, after all of these years, and I love it. I go to that festival every year, and so do my kids!!!
I have my life now, and he has his. He now owns a General Store, like an old timey country store with his wife, and his 2 little ones run around in bare feet in and out of there in the summer time. My now 2bx, very good friends with him.
All played out kind of strange... lol, life can be that way sometimes... I am fine with life right now.
My real first date was a month after my 16 birthday. I was only allow to go on double dates and a guy friend asked me. It was completely platonic but tons of fun. It was definatly not a faineant date. We saw a movie, went to eat and played putt-putt. It seems like yesterday and not over a decade ago!
I remember I was 16 as that was the age my mom decided I was old enough, but can not for the life of me remember what we did. Perhaps that is why it didn't last!
I was 16, and went on a double-date. A friend of mine hooked me up with a friend of his. We went to the movies.
