Honestly, mine is picking up my first alcoholic beverage at 22....Wished I never did....I never did like drinking, I only liked what it did for me (helped me to talk more, laugh more, & be the first one out of the dance floor)...But the last 10 years I drank, people didn't like me dancing or having fun....I thought that was part of it....LOL! Okay, well, at least I stopped & love being quiet & in the back again...

""mind you I never dranked everyday or made it a bad habit in the long run"".

Not paying attention in high school and using my brain

I should have never started dancing at 19 and blowing all the money I made on stupid shyt. Should have invested it or gone to college with it

Not allowing my rich ex to help me more when he offered to money wise. I didn't want him to think it was all about the money.

Not going with my brother to FF school in Miami when he told me I should go with him

Still sitting here at 39 and trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up

Unions that were never meant to be from the beginning.

Since there are so many posts on here about people marrying the wrong person, perhaps that would be a good thread in Relationships.
I refuse to post there anymore. Too much meaness (especially towards shy men) and immaturity for my taste.

I my case and probably others too it wasn't about marrying the wrong person at all. But people can change through the years and often it's for the worst. My ex was diagnosed with a mental illness after we broke up. Thinking back I should have seen the signs and got out sooner. After I supported her through major surgery (I worked 2 jobs for 5 years), after full recovery she gave into her sexual fantasies and we broke up. That was the thanks I got.

That's true most of the time, but not always. I was all tied up in knots when I married for the second time. Even the next day I felt queasy. That was 28 years ago, and we're still together.
