I'm so interested in sunrise/set times until i find the sunrise/set thread in weather subforum, and discover the whole subforum and become interested in weather and climate.
I've been a member here before but was banned three years ago because I didn't know you had to be 18 years of age.
I hope that doesn't get me into trouble now.
But I really enjoy it because it's just as active as it was three years ago. I was a member of TV.com for years and loved posting in the forums. But when CBS bought the company that owned it (CNET) they started making so many unwarranted changes and drove most users away.
Another forum I used to frequent got disbanded several years ago (it was called Hey Martha), and I was happy to discover this one, although I don't come here nearly as much. I get frustrated here because most everything I post gets deleted by a moderator! It just happened to me again today. It was a thread about FOOD, posted in the Food & Drink forum, for goodness sake.... I just don't understand.
I was killing time (at work, of course) googling my home town. CD came up and I started reading not just the Kentucky threads (where I live) but a lot of the general forum topics too. Figured why not sign up?

I originally joined researching why Californians moved from here. A Google search led me to this forum. I did find the information I was looking for, then I started posting by offering information about my particular area to those who asked. After spending time in the state-specific forums, I branched out to the other more general forums and the rest, as they say, is history.
