SHOP is a four-letter word in my home. I make a few gifts for special individuals, so no mall music for me. I sometimes listen to holiday music when I'm in the mood, but this year I can't find my current favorite on YouTube -- Garth Brooks' cover of Louis Armstrong's "'Zat You, Santa Claus?"

Have Christmas carolers ever come to your door? Yep! Love it!

Have you ever been part of a caroling group? Maybe when I was a bitty kid.

Bonus Question:

A tiny cemetery in Port Gamble, WA, after dark, close to Hallowe'en is the creepiest thing I’ve ever seen in real life.

I like to read something really boring to help me relax before bed.
I like to dip veggies in hummus.

I do - both at home and while driving, but prefer the occasional rather than the constant!

Have Christmas carolers ever come to your door?
Used to, but not here... one time my cousin (youth pastor) brought his whole church youth choir by bus to our door... we never heard them until they knocked on the door, and when we opened it, here was the whole group assembled holding candles, very heartwarming!

Have you ever been part of a caroling group?
A few that could drown out my "joyful noise"!

Bonus Question:
Can you fill in the following blanks?
Torre Mayor (Mayor Tower) Building in Mexico City is the tallest building I’ve ever been to the top of.
A real-live copperhead snake my neighbor killed for me that was creeping on my property is the creepiest thing I’ve ever seen in real life. My worst nightmare!
My home is my favorite place in the world.
I like to read to help me relax before bed.
I like to dip veggies in Green Goddess Dressing.

Today's Question(s) :

I do all of my holiday shopping online. I play CDs or listen to talk radio in the car. I don't usually notice the music in the supermarket. Haven't heard a single carol this season.

Have Christmas carolers ever come to your door? No, well wait a minute, I think one time when I was in my 20s which was like 40 years ago.

Have you ever been part of a caroling group? No

Bonus Question:
Can you fill in the following blanks?

I think the WTC but don't know if that was taller than the Sears Tower in Chicago where I have also been is the tallest building I’ve ever been to the top of.

A lima bean at the bottom of my Campbell's Vegetable Soup is the creepiest thing I’ve ever seen in real life. (probably not but today there is dead air in the brain)

Bombay Hook NWR is my favorite place in the world.

I like to take naked laps around the apartment complex parking lot to help me relax before bed. (not really - have no trouble falling asleep)

I like to dip veggies in mashed potatoes or rice. (Technically, I think that's called "schmushing" but I don't like raw vegetables except for salads so that's my answer and I'm sticking to it - no dipping).

Well, I love Amazon (I could spend all night reading book reviews) but I also like Animal Den, Gourmet Grocery Online, Sharper Image and pretty much like to browse any site with unusual gifts like the geek gifts at Uncommon Goods (just for the weirdness). They are all online.
