Today's Question:
If you could learn any old-timey jobs or crafts, which ones would you like to learn?
I probably would have wound up being a seamstress, I'd been born in the 1800s or before. Lots of women in my family did that. I hate sewing by hand, but am really good at it. Must be in the DNA. lol If I could choose something I'd like to be a baker. I can see it now. Wearing a long skirt, my hair up like they used to do, flour on my face. Surrounded by cakes and bread. Where do I sign?

Here are some links with lists of old jobs you can scan for ideas:
---> A List of Occupations
---> List of Old English Occupations and descriptions

Bonus Questions:
(Please check all that apply. )
If you had to assemble a product at home by yourself would you:
-Read the instructions carefully?
That's me.
-Glance at the instructions, then dive in? Or this maybe.
-Just wing it!?
- Cry?
lol
- Shout?
- Assemble a sandwich instead?
Definitely.
-Other? Let hubby build it!

Foodie Questions:
Heard it through the grapevine, in all its forms.
What kinds of grapes do you like?
White or red.
Grape juice, yea or nay? yea
Wine, yea or nay? Nay
Raisins, golden or dark? Dark usually.

Just for fun:
Today is Answer Your Cat's Questions Day.
If you were a cat, what would you ask?
Meow, meow, meow, many times which means, Will you pet me, love me, feed me?

Great picture! Thanks so much.

I usually do this one
-Glance at the instructions, then dive in?
-Just wing it!?
- Cry?
- Shout? Done this one before too!
- Assemble a sandwich instead?
-Other? Take everything out of the box, and then realize, oh crap, this looks a lot harder to put together than I thought when I bought it!

Foodie Questions:
Heard it through the grapevine, in all its forms.
What kinds of grapes do you like?
I'll like both green and dark grapes.
Grape juice, yea or nay?
When I was a kid I loved it, but I haven't drank it in years.
Wine, yea or nay?
Too young to drink, so nay.
Raisins, golden or dark?
Both

If you were a cat, what would you ask?
If I were our cat, I would ask, "Why don't you feed me more? Why don't you feed me what I like?"
Our cat is almost as picky of an eater as me (almost!). If she really loves or can't stand her food for the day she WILL let you know, constantly. If she likes it, she wants more. If she doesn't, she'll meow at you all day!

I don't have a cat.. but I'll talk to the one that comes into my backyard to do his.. business.. and I'll ask him to get the heck out of my yard... or at least clean up what he leaves behind....

And if I were a cat.. I'd stay out of Mike's Backyard...

What I really want and need to learn soon is how to plant and grow flax, harvest it, and get it to the point of being able to spin. I already can spin and weave it.

OK, thank you so much BJH, I now have my 2015 task in mind!

If you were a cat, what would you ask? Why don't you just stand by the door and let me in and out of the porch whenever I want? (Based on tonight's routine. Paw at door to go out on porch. Get cold. Paw at door to come from porch. Get bored. Repeat, over and over.)
