Not sure if its just me that notices this but it seems a lot of those $2 crossword tickets win all the time. I know this because people bring those scratcher tickets into my store, to cash them in. Some are only 5 bucks but many are higher winners, but anything over 100 we have to tell them they have to go to the lottery office. Of course we cash lots of tickets, many who are also pay 5, 10, even 20 bucks on a ticket, but the majority of what I myself cash in for customers are the two dollar crosswords.
As far as buying a ticket just because it smells good, no, I rarely to never buy one at all, much less just because of that, sheesh!

I can’t buy “any” winning tickets no matter how hard I try. Last week I even had a laundry ticket at the drycleaners that lost!

Hmm.. I'm scratching my head over that one right now..

Something smells very.. Fishy with this marketing gimmick.. You can't have bacon by itself.. without the eggs and hash-browns.. but.. I'll Bet they're low in saturated fats.. so the next time you go to New Hampshire and stop at a breakfast restaurant, don't be surprised if your server asks "Would you like a low-fat Scratch Ticket with your breakfast?"..

You know, some people associate bacon with money
"Bring home the bacon, honey!"
