That's this week's peeve: People who can't seem to give you a straight answer to a simple question but ramble on and on pointlessly.

We do have a good friend that will go on and on about whatever is on his mind and wandering off topic until he finally gets to the point of what he's trying to ask or tell us.

If it's a phone conversation, you can hear his wife gently telling him to get on with it.

Shep (Bayarea4), have you been talking with my mother?

This describes her very well!

Thanks for doing this.

I'm back from Italy and am looking forward to an early night.

Never touched pizza.

Buffalo and black angus beef yes, pizza no.

I was in Padova- Padua, sorting out with Miss J her new pad, and we found a nice one.

That is as exciting as pizza news! Do you know if there are any nice eateries near Miss J's new pad?
So it was a successful trip!

Thanks for asking.

The nearest eatery to her pad is a vegan place, which she has tried.

She isn't vegan but likes that kind of food occasionally.

There's loads of restaurants nearby because she is very close to the town centre. The place we ate at on Tuesday was renowned for the meat- they cut strips and cook it at your table. However it is unlikely that she will be eating there on a student budget.

She did get takeaway pizza one evening and told me that it was very nice.

Padua (Padova) is a wonderful ancient yet lively and beautiful town.

I hope that Bayarea4 doesn't mind my putting up a recent photo or two, but here with a taster of beautiful Padua (Padova) where I have been for the last few days;

Do I mind? Do I mind? Jezer, have you gone stark raving bonkers? I love your photos and can't get enough of them! You can hijack my threads any old time.
