Today's Question(s):
If money were no object and you could own any piece of original art, what would you choose, and why? Pretty much any painting by Edward Hopper. I like "Chop Suey" but would be thrilled to own any of his amazing works. Why? Taste in art is such an individual thing -- some works speak to me and some don't, even though the artist has great talent. Hopper's work speaks to me.

Which original manuscript would you choose, and why? "Now We Are Six" -- A. A. Milne because it was my first and still my most favorite book of poems.

Have you ever worked on your own plumbing in any way? Yes. If so, what have you done? I have changed the mechanism inside a couple of toilets, unblocked drains and changed faucets.

From where you are sitting, can you see:
candy? Nope
a box of tissues? Nope
a pair of shoes? I have slippers on my feet.
a butterfly (real, or an image)? Yes -- a little crystal one.
framed art? Yes.
a basket?Yup.
an umbrella stand/holder? Nope.

Thanks PC and happy day everyone!

[quote=PatsCats;38773203]Mornin' all!
It's a foggy morning here in Northwest Indiana, and it seems as though my computer is experiencing a fog of its own. I think I need to just get a new one, as much as I hate the thought of it. Oh well. At least the temperatures are starting to rise, and the last of the piles of shoveled-up, dirty snow are beginning to melt.

What is snow?

Okay, onward! >>>

Today's Question(s):

I'm assuming you mean something more or less well-known. The painting by Jack Yeats..."Left-left We left our name on the road..." probably.

Which original manuscript would you choose, and why?

The Mira Calligraphiae Monumenta, a sixteenth century manuscript that started out as a collectors catalogue of script styles, which was a knockout in itself and was then turned into a unique masterpiece by an illustrator who was turned loose on it.

Yes. Wept.

It's a toss up between Time Transfixed or Golconda by Magritte. I've always been a fan of his work,

Which original manuscript would you choose, and why?

The original manuscript from the movie The Razor's Edge. I have the movie poster from the remake back in the 1980's. It was the first movie John and I saw together. We try to watch it every year on our anniversary.

Bonus Question(s):

I've helped John with some rental projects.

Have no interest in art. I wouldn't know the difference between a Rembrandt and a Roadrunner.

Which original manuscript would you choose, and why?
I feel the same way about literature.

Bonus Question(s):
Have you ever worked on your own plumbing in any way? If so, what have you done?
I have done everything. One of the jobs I had was installing high pressure hot water cleaning systems. That required running hundreds of feet of pipe for low and high pressure water and gas pipe.
