Good morning everyone
Happy Saturday !!!
Because it is Saturday I am going to have a easy
Todays question:

Right at the moment you read this, is your house "company ready"
or will you be running around throwing things in closets yelling "hang on be right there" at the door ?

Today in history
:

Big day in TV
January 12,
1949 - "Kukla, Fran and Ollie", made its national debut on NBC-TV
1966 - "Batman" debuted -- on ABC-TV.
1971 - "All in the Family" premieres on CBS featuring 1st toilet flush on TV
1981 - "Dynasty" premieres on ABC-TV

Word of the day :

raillery \RAY-luh-ree\, noun:
1. Good-humored banter or teasing.
2. An instance of good-humored teasing; a jest.

Today is Curried Chicken Day

OMG however did I miss this January is:

my mother in law is coming over this morning so I guess thats what gave me the idea for todays question.

I cleaned yesterday but with 3 dogs and a bird it makes it had to keep up

lol making the bed is a endless battle since they love to get up there and make a nest

so I guess my answer would be

I hope so
rofl I think she will be so distracted by the "tower o' TP" in the guestbath that she won't notice anything else

unless as they say " the apple didn't fall far from the tree" and she doesn't notice it anymore than her son does

lol roaddog
kinda makes you wonder where they come up with these months

I betcha it was the prune industry itself

"hmmm sales seem to be a little slow this quarter. Hey lets make January prune breakfast month"

I am sure someone somewhere got a huge raise or bonus for that one

Definately not ready for company Karla. This house had a good cleaning on Wednesday for the appraisal and now 3 days later, 4 kids, 2 cats, and the dog, looks like a cyclone hit it! Our home inspection is on Monday morning so I best get busy...oh, and Go Cowboys!

With exception to the kitchen, from breakfast, it's close enough to passable.

Being 6 hours from any family that would expect the white glove experience, the house is passable for close friends that may stop by. Although we do most of entertaining outdoors.

Go Pats !

Yesterday morning my house was company ready. Now the company is here and I just made 2 kinds of oatmeal because my granddaughter did not like the real kind. Luckily I had some instant in the pantry. Are we having fun yet? Yes, I have one two year old and three grownups in the living room watching Curious George. I'm having a little R&R in the computer room. lol
