Todays question Sunday 1-13-08
Good morning everyone
We didn't wake up till 7 and had to be out of the house by 7:20 lol making for a very discombobulated morning
Hence this is so late
I can never figure out how 2 people can use so many dishes which prompted
Todays question:
If it wasn't for the strange looks you may get from friends and family would you use paper plates and plastic utensils all the time ?
Today in history:
January 13, 1863 Thomas Crapper pioneers one-piece pedestal flushing toilet
Word of the day:
discombobulate (dis-kuhm-bob-yuh-leyt) adj
having self-possession upset; thrown into confusion.
Today Is: Rubber Duckie's Birthday
It is also National Peach Melba Day

If I could pull it off you bet
Disposable everything, the only problem might be the dogs food dishes lol they would probably eat them.
But then again this would add to yet another thing that boggles my mind
How can 2 people generate so much trash

I could never do plastic/paper all the time.
I'd feel too guilty about the environment.
This is NOT to say that I never use such convenience type stuff.
But I try to contribute as little as possible to landfills.

Hubby and I use paper plates when ever possible. We've never gone so far as to use plastic utensils. Yep, just one big picnic here LOL!

Dishes
No way. Food just doesn't seem to taste as good on disposable dishes. One of the meals might just be beans and cornbread, but I think the appearance of the food is as important as the food itself. I do send disposable things with my SO in his lunch though. He has a bad habit of not bringing my good things back home.

We use paper plates all the time unless we have something that is wet.
