We have one, but it's difficult for me to try to describe... it's all metal, like wrought iron possibly, heavy like that... anyway, some kind of metal and the top looks like the top of one of those old-fashioned round bird cages with all of the scrollwork (about 1' across, possibly less ), then from the bottom of that hangs 5-6 large dragonflies around the outside edge and in the middle hangs a bell with the "clinger" hanging from it a little lower than the rest of it... the whole thing is about 2 to 2-1/2 feet in length.
LoL, that's the best I can do... it's unique and I've not seen another one like it or I'd post a photo... so now I'm sure you all know exactly what I'm talking about!

Thanks Bst! I've tried to make one out of conduit in years past. We have several small chimes on our front porch. Sounds like a nice one you have there. I do like the sounds of them as the wind blows. I like the howling noise our storm door makes too as the wind goes through it.
We once had a neighbor who had a whole patio and yard full of those hanging chimes, drove the whole neighborhood crazy. So am sorry to say I'm not into wind chimes.

We have a ton here..all different kinds...at the Walmart garden center the other day, I almost knocked over a rolling cart which had about every windchime for sale on it...Thank God I didn't..you break it you bought it...
Just wondering if a wind chime could be made from odd sized pieces of thick glass with hole melted in them for the wire to hang them with? Maybe a little heavy metal mixed in?

Years ago on an elementary field I remember watching a glass blower work. Now if I could just get some custom glass chimes made that look like bird eating snakes that might work in a strawberry patch or blueberry bush
