Here's something to keep you awake at night. The falling ceiling fan that I witnessed was in my home at Albuquerque. It fell almost 22 feet to the floor and almost on top of my friend who had just come through the front door.
And something more to ponder. The fan had been installed by the previous owner of the house who was an airline mechanic.

That's funny. Very early this morning my cat was leaping straight up in the air to get to the light and fan pulls on the ceiling fan mounted over my bed. I was in the bed and getting worried that she might just make it and pull the fan down on me.
