Default A shocking personality

Anyone out there in CD-Land have this problem?

A shocking personality? Literally speaking here...

When I use the copy machine at work, it sends me up in the air. For real.

Oh the Drs and patients think it is the funniest thing, however, when this happens, I am being .....

SHOCKED.

I don't think it is by much, but enough to send me backwards and upwards.

This happens to no one else in the office but me, so I know it is not the machine.

When dd kisses me on the cheek, she gets a little shock... lol...

But this does not happen to ds.

So, I think that she may also have a shocking personality.

LOL

Am I the only one, please say I am not... I mean, hey... I love hading this shocking personality.... I just don't loved getting.... shocked!

dddzzzzztttt

I have to tell you that when I first saw this thread, it was not what I thought it was going to be but ironically my DH has the shocking personality you described. DD and I do not have the same problem but we are however victim's of the shocks he gives off. Touching something else and static guard has not worked for him. Everytime he touches me, DD, or anything metal in the house, sparks fly. There have been times when he has touched something and I've seen what appears to be a mini blue lighting bolt because the spark was that big!
He doesn't know it yet but I'm going to take Rance's suggestion and he's getting some dryer sheets in his pocket!!!

I am surprised Fat Freddy hasn't gotten hold of this post yet! I think 50% of the population carries around some wood. LOL

Wood? That makes no sense.
I try to touch my (clothed) elbow to the file drawer handle so the electricity can ground itself before I use my (unclothed) hand. USUALLY it works...
