I'm thinking Star would love the maple donuts I used to get back home. They were like donut pancakes - complete with crumbled bacon on top. So good!

Oh yeah - maple doughnuts sound really nice.

I've never had bacon with Maple Syrup though. I've only had bacon with something savoury - such as in a Full English Breakfast, or a bacon sandwich with some HP Sauce on it.

Having said that, I did try some maple flavoured ham, and that was really nice. So I'm wondering if bacon with Maple Syrup would be like that.

It's a food thoughts kind of day, for sure. Star, I'm guessing you'll like bacon with pancake syrup - classic sweet/salty combo

Also thinking I'm sad to see the last of 80 degree days
