Default Bees in decline

So I just read about how bee populations are in decline and that Albert Einstein said that if bees completely die, then so do we. Are we all facing an apocalyptic future here? I personally don't like bees, but I fear for the future. What's going to happen?

Well I must admit that I haven't lost much sleep about the bee thing but I have on occasion pondered what it will be like for the last person standing to look up into the sky just as the sun dies out. Ray-Ban outta business...instantly

Haven't you heard! They are all moving to Alaska. To many cell phones in the lower 48 states. More bee's than ever here now. I wonder if we're gonna be the new sunshine state. After the comet hits us and everything.

We have 1000's of bees in our "wild field" in Upstate NY. I know there seems to be a lot of fear over the end of the world and bees lately here. So if it comes down to it I will defend my bees to the end...

I talked to a beekeeper about this during our states last fair. (he was standing in a room full of bees like they are kittens).

He inform me it is result of colony collapse disorder is a condition the cause of which is completely unknown,” said North Carolina beekeeper

new parasite or environmental contaminates could be factors in the new illness.

What he did state we need more hives and beekeepers
