I'm moving to Houston, TX
Howdy y'all... I got a new job there and will be moving in a few weeks.
Should I change my screenname to something else... I don't think I can call myself "DCNative" much longer. Any ideas for a new screenname for me?

Welcome! Hey if you're a DC native, why not just keep the name.

Thanks! because I've been wanting to flee from DC for a while now. I don't know why I chose the name in the first place

How about the new name DCowboy ?
I hope you enjoy the new job and the location. Remember it takes a while to get acclimated however you can always go back. Good luck to you and keep in touch via C-D.
The government witness protection program requires you not to tell others about these types of moves. Or,,,,,,, is this move to adjust overcrowding in the federal prisons? LOLROTF

DCcowboy? Hmm... maybe
Yeah, I know it's hot down there, but I know hot and humid, as DC is in July and August. In Houston, the summers will be a lot longer.
My only concern - rentals. They seem to have really jumped recently. I thought, Houston, being affordable, would have plenty of 1br apartments for rent at $300-500 per month. They're actually more like $600-900/mo in the nice neighborhoods. I CAN afford this, but I want to keep these figures as low as possible.

I say just keep the nickname you have. So everyone that knows you won't be confused.
