MMom...do you mean the tours with pedal road bikes? My Wife and I used to do those when we lived in New England.

Volleyball. We play it on Wednesday nights at the local elementary school from 7 to 9 pm...then all meet for a beer at the local bar. Helps with the cabin fever thing in the winter here.

I love to waterski, but you won't catch me doing it amongst the floating blocks of ice in the water up here. So, until we move to a warmer climate, I will stick with bowling.

Todays question:
What is your favorite sport or sport-type activity to participate in ?
Today in history:
January 28, 1934 1st U.S. ski tow (rope) begins operation (Woodstock Vermont)
lol I can't tel you how many times I have fell off of those dang rope tows when I was a neophyte skier
then they came up with the T-bars which provided even more moments where I was glad the camera wasn't around.
Word of the day:
neophyte \NEE-uh-fyt\, noun:
1. A new convert or proselyte.
2. A novice; a beginner in anything.
Today is National Blueberry Pancake Day
Today is also:

Well, many years ago I was quite the athlete, Now, besides my regular work-out routine, if anyone would like to challenge me to a game of ping pong, watch out...

I used to play a lot of sports too, now I shoot baskets outside in my driveway. But volleyball is fun-at any age, although softball is probably my all time favorite.

I do water exercises several days a week, but I don't consider that a sport. The sports that I enjoy the most are probably volleyball, tennis, or basketball. I don't think any team would want me anymore though.
