The refridgerator is where I keep my matches for starting candles. That way I know where they are in case of darkness and no mice can get to them. My uncles home caught on fire when a mouse got into his match holder.

We keep batteries in the fridge. I've heard of people keeping cigarettes in the fridge so they stay fresh. I've placed bras and pillow cases in the freezer during hot summer months. I can't believe I'm sharing this! Sorry boys, no photos!

Well, at the moment I have a couple of ziplock baggies in the freezer that have fishes that have died in my fishtank. They always seem to expire a day after the warranty period so my husband "cryos" them and whenever I am ready to add fish I get the same type and a couple of days later he will return something out of the freezer and add a few more.

It's not there any more, but one day, I opened my freezer to find a beautiful (altho quite dead) bird in it. Hubby's a carver, and he saw this bird on the side of the road and took it home so he could use it as a model. I made him put it in a ziploc bag and keep it away from everything else. Dead things just gross me out.

I keep nail polish in the fridge.
Btw, I read somewhere that if you put a new sweater in the freezer (could've been the fridge... not sure ) for an hour before wearing it, it doesn't get fuzzballs later. Haven't tested it, though. Has anybody tried?

1802 you could buy a house for $25.00 and a chicken.

LOL.. Of course in California, it would have cost you $1,000 back then, and that didn't include the chicken!

Today is also national Freethinkers day

Free-Thinkers Day? So does that mean you have to pay for their thinking for the rest of the year?
