I feel that if i were president of the United States of America...i would make breastfeeding in public illegal in all 50 states due to the fact i believe in decency which everyone should, i believe in good family conservative values, and i dont wanna see the moral fabric of decency in America go to waste. When a society condones sexual indecent exposure such as public breastfeeding, how long will it be till a weak minded liberal society starts condoning urinating-defacating in public. America has way to much of a liberal free society and i think its time a society needs to wakeup and smell the coffee that we are losing values and a civilized society to make sexual indecent exposure a social norm. What American society needs to do in this issue about public breastfeeding is start thinking morely about decency, conservative values, manners, ethics class and less thinking about womens rights and about the baby going hungry (that sort of thing). Liberal feminism, lactivism is destroying this countrys values and its time we put our foots down to this group of hateful arrogant militants who wanna push it in our faces to have society socielly accept sexual indecent exposure like public breastfeeding. Im all for public nursing just as long as a women with class, decency and values is using a bottle with a rubber nipple attached to it to feed her baby the more sophisticated way rather then publicly breastfeeding. If a women wants to breastfeed her child, she should have enough CLASS, SHAME, DECENCY AND GOOD CONSERVATIVE VALUES to breastfeed where its PRIVATE and exclusive like a bathroom, a car or in the PRIVACY of her own home where its out of the way of the publics best interest

Well whatever restaurant that was that you saw women with bare breast, sure in the heck wasnt no classy, upscale, sophisticated restaurant with well mannered yuppies, and i'll be sure not to go to a restaurant like that. That restaurant puts me in mind of a lowclass restaurant like either Sizzlers or Mcdonald. I'm sorry to say this but no classy, sophisticated, upscale women with conservative values doesnt breastfeed in restaurants, never mind upscale classy restaurants. The only people you see who breastfeed like that in public are people with no values, no shame, no decency, no class and werent taught the right way by there parents about MANNERS. If a weak liberal minded free society starts condoning this inappropriate behaviour, how long will it be till its legal to urinate-defacate in public restaurants inside a large glass jar?? its the same thing the way i see it, slippery slope from liberals. I think if i were in that same situation like you who saw something like this, i would make a complain to the assistant manager about that inappropriate behaviour for the customers best interest. Us classy, upscale people dont want that filth in our restaurants, if a women wants to breastfeed her child, then at least have enough CLASS, DECENCY AND SHAME to go somewhere PRIVATE like a bathroom, a car or behind a bush where its out of the way of customers. Breastfeeding in public is down right rude, trashy and disrespectful to me

breast feeding
If a baby is hungry, you feed him/her, no matter where you are! You shouldnt' have to 'worry' about sick people thinking it is wrong to do that in public!
Only in America....Also on a plane, in a seat, hardly anyone is going to see, If I was that lady I would have draped a light little baby blanket over me because it is a lovely bonding experiance and wouldn't share that with strangers...yet at the same time, the woman was made to feel ashamed, and that is really sickening.

There is nothing wrong with breastfeedingin public, just throw a blanket over you so *others* dont get offended, whomever thinks breastfeeding will hurt the moral fiber ( which is the dumbest thing i have ever heard!! it is more natural than bottle feeding!)of America really needs to get a grip, not everyone is a pervert.

As many people have already stated, most people hear are already against indecent exposure, yet not public breastfeeding entirely. There is a difference.
Also, public bathrooms in places like malls accomodate diaper changing. If a young child/toddler is able to remember, those diaper changing sessions could feel very indecent, though neccessary.

The process of eliminating the body's waste is very different than the process of feeding an infant as nature intended.

I choose to breastfed my son in my car or a nice bathroom for mine and his privacy. I think it is courteous to be discreet about it. If it was illegal to breastfeed in public, you can kiss my ass. I will feed him where I want. The boobs were made for food not to look at!!

I think I'm being misunderstood. I'm not suggesting that change tables double as nursing locations. I guess I don't have much more to say on this topic so I'll be quiet now.

She should feel ashamed and embarrased for nursing in an airplane where there are so many passenger, and even when she sat way in the back, its not gonna stop the flight attendent from making a few trips back in fourth toward the end of the airplane to see how the passengers are doing. Any women who public breastfeeds should feel ashamed and embarrased just the same as if someone were to Urinate-defacate in public inside a large jar. Anytime a women exposes her bottle functions out in public like public breastfeeding, its gonna bring shame on her because its displaying a bodily function where everyone can see, because its unsaitary, its lowclass, its sexualy obscene, its trashy and no manners. Its pretty obvious the flight attendent saw Emily Gillette very well uncovored if she gave her two options to use a blanket or take it to a bathroom where its out of the way
