Trash bags and trucks, geez!

Have you had anything re-upholstered? If so, what?
A new couch & chair I bought once... never really cared for the material they were originally upholstered in, but both were just the right size (large) and they were extremely well-built and mainly, they sat "just right" so had them done in a much more pleasing material.

Have you crossed an international border without a passport?

If you have visited a planetarium, what do you remember about it?
The amazing dome projection of the stars & planets.

Foodie Q:
Please describe your ideal grilled cheese sammich: Just made one yesterday. Lightly toast the bread slices in a toaster. Take the lightly toasted slices and spread both with butter and place both slices separately on a hot grill. Then lay in a thick slice of mild cheddar on one of the slices and stack the other bread slice on top. Toast the sandwich on each side to the desired darkness, then enjoy.

Thanks BJH. Everyone have a safe and fun weekend.

Today's Questions:
Do you have any library books overdue? No because I rarely borrow, preferring to read on-site at the library for hours at a time

Okay, what is overdue in your life? A break in the relationship stakes.

Did you go on any school field trips as a kid? Quite a few: some of them relating to historical monuments; or geographical points of interest. But quite frankly they all bored me, and I was too interested with my hand-held computer games.

Have you chaperoned on any field trips as a grown up? Nope. I will never grow up

I can't believe the high price of: "everything" is this flipping country.

I can't believe the low price of: milk.

Have you had anything re-upholstered? If so, what? Yes.I had my favourite "comfy" chair upholstered at the kind of expense where it would have cheaper just to buy a replacement. But I have an affinity with my "comfy" chair; I can sit, lie, slope, stand, flop, squat, kneel, sleep, lounge, cuddle etc

Have you crossed an international border without a passport? Probably, when I used to live in South Africa years ago.

If you have visited a planetarium, what do you remember about it? Yes, this one in fact Planetarium & Astronomy Centre | Royal Museums Greenwich | UNESCO World Heritage Site In London

Went there on a school trip a few years back, and really enjoyed it. So much so that I've been interested in astronomy and cosmology ever since.

Today's Questions:
Do you have any library books overdue?
No, although once I lost a book on the Muni Metro (light rail line) and bought a new one to replace it.
Okay, what is overdue in your life?
Will, advance health care directive, power of attorney for health care
Did you go on any school field trips as a kid?
Yes, those were always fun.
Have you chaperoned on any field trips as a grown up?
No, I haven't done anything like that. I'm not good with kids, which is one reason I never had any.
I can't believe the high price of:
Real estate in San Francisco
I can't believe the low price of:
Real estate in Yoakum, Texas.
Have you had anything re-upholstered? If so, what?
No, I've never done that.
Have you crossed an international border without a passport?
Only when I visited Mexico, the Virgin Islands and Canada because passports were not required in those days.
If you have visited a planetarium, what do you remember about it?
My memories are very much like the planetarium scene in the James Dean movie Rebel Without a Cause. I may have even seen the same show he and his classmates did. I loved the Griffith Park Planetarium, though it seemed quite a bit less impressive when I saw it again in the 1980s.
