[quote=cloven;46263296]Happy Monday November 21, everybody-and welcome to QOTD.

Today’s Question:

Regarding medical procedures & squeamishness-are you able to…
-look at surgery (internal anatomy) photos ? Yes
-watch surgery videos (not fictional, but a real operation) ? Yes
-do surgery yourself, “in the field” or at a hospital ? If I had to
While having blood drawn, does it bother you to see the needle
-or are you fine with it ? Ok w/it

Extra Credit:
If you reach an automated menu (when phoning business or gov’t.), how would you prefer to interact with it:
speaking to it (voice-activated, word-recognition program)
-or by pressing buttons/number keys on your phone ? Speaking

Bonus:
When doing laundry, have you lost a sock or a coin behind/underneath a washing machine or dryer ? Yes
Has sock lint ever become stuck/wedged between your toe & toenail ? No

Just for Fun:
Have you been to a revolving/rotating restaurant ?
No

Today’s Question:
Regarding medical procedures & squeamishness-are you able to…
-look at surgery (internal anatomy) photos ? Yes but I'd just as soon not.
-watch surgery videos (not fictional, but a real operation) ?
Yes, but only if I have to.
-do surgery yourself, “in the field” or at a hospital ?
No thanks.................. There are things that you have to leave to those best qualified to do them.

While having blood drawn, does it bother you to see the needle
-or are you fine with it ? No, it's something that I had done for years while in the service and after leaving the military. I had to stop doing it a while back because my blood was low on iron (if I'm correct) and they wouldn't take it. That was news to me at the time because I knew that I had lead in my butt but never would have guessed I had low iron levels. My doctor said it was normal for some people to have those issues.

Extra Credit:
If you reach an automated menu (when phoning business or gov’t.), how would you prefer to interact with it:
No I'd rather talk with a person who can direct me to the right department.

speaking to it (voice-activated, word-recognition program)
-or by pressing buttons/number keys on your phone ?
I like the buttons.

Bonus:
When doing laundry, have you lost a sock or a coin behind/underneath a washing machine or dryer ?
No, it seems that has never happened to me.

Has sock lint ever become stuck/wedged between your toe & toenail ?

Just for Fun:
Have you been to a revolving/rotating restaurant ? Yes a couple of them over the years. You always get a well rounded meal when eating at them.................

It's the start of the week, make it good and stay safe for the holiday.

Bonus:
When doing laundry, have you lost a sock or a coin behind/underneath a washing machine or dryer ? I'm sure there are some hidden gems under my washer and dryer.
Has sock lint ever become stuck/wedged between your toe & toenail ? My sock lint goes in the lint filter, if it doesn't get it all.....well who knows where it goes

Just for Fun:

Today’s Question:
Regarding medical procedures & squeamishness-are you able to…
-look at surgery (internal anatomy) photos ? No problem with photos.
-watch surgery videos (not fictional, but a real operation) ? I care not to.
-do surgery yourself, “in the field” or at a hospital ? I care not to.
While having blood drawn, does it bother you to see the needle-or are you fine with it ? No although unexpected human blood, especially my own, from an accident can make me swoon.

Extra Credit:

LINK ---> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revolving_restaurant I've been in buildings where there was a rotating restaurant but I don't recall eating in one.

Thanks Cloven. Wishing everyone a safe and productive week.

Today’s Question:
Regarding medical procedures & squeamishness-are you able to…
-look at surgery (internal anatomy) photos ? Yes
-watch surgery videos (not fictional, but a real operation) ? I doubt I could do that
-do surgery yourself, “in the field” or at a hospital ? Definitely not.
While having blood drawn, does it bother you to see the needle-or are you fine with it ? I tend not to look.

Extra Credit:
If you reach an automated menu (when phoning business or gov’t.), how would you prefer to interact with it:
speaking to it (voice-activated, word-recognition program)-or by pressing buttons/number keys on your phone ?
Pressing buttons. Voice is too frustrating.
Bonus:
When doing laundry, have you lost a sock or a coin behind/underneath a washing machine or dryer ? Yes
Has sock lint ever become stuck/wedged between your toe & toenail ? Quite often

Just for Fun:
Have you been to a revolving/rotating restaurant ? No

While having blood drawn, does it bother you to see the needle

Extra Credit:
If you reach an automated menu (when phoning business or gov’t.), how would you prefer to interact with it:
speaking to it (voice-activated, word-recognition program)

Bonus:
When doing laundry, have you lost a sock or a coin behind/underneath a washing machine or dryer ? Not lately but it has happened.
Has sock lint ever become stuck/wedged between your toe & toenail ? No, because I usually pick out the lint on the sock before I put it on.

Just for Fun:
Have you been to a revolving/rotating restaurant ? No but I'd like to go to the one at the top of the Space Needle in Seattle one of these days.

Have a great start to the new week ahead! I'm off work this week.
