Today’s Questions:
When you receive rep comments, do you try to reciprocate?
I don't. In this forum only, I usually pick a day and rep everyone who posted before me. I need to leave enough time between reps so I don't get the "You need to spread the wealth before you rep Huckleberry again." Unfortunately, on that day, I can't rep other people in other CD forums because I'm all repped out for the day. In the other CD forums where I post much more than here, I rep based on content, sometimes humor (especially appreciated by me in P&OC) but mostly if the post is informative or something new to me and especially if they are answering a question of mine.
Do you ever leave anonymous rep comments?
That's the only kind I do. No comment reps. You all get reps from me once a week. You just don't know it's from me.
Bonus Questions:
Do you know anyone who has a birthday on a major holiday? Personally? No.
What do you most enjoy about this time of year? The migrating seagulls are here.
What do you least enjoy about this time of year? Leafless trees. Makes for ugly backgrounds in photos.
Just for Fun:
Name one thing that will always be found in your house: books
Name one thing that will never be found at your house: an iron
Today’s Questions:
When you receive rep comments, do you try to reciprocate? Generally, yes.
Do you ever leave anonymous rep comments? Occasionally.
Bonus Questions:
Do you know anyone who has a birthday on a major holiday? A French friend has her middle name Noel, for reasons fairly obvious, given the question.
What do you most enjoy about this time of year? The events leading up to Christmas. Today we are sending out invites for our now traditional eve of Christmas Eve brunch. There are other get togethers lined up, and soon we are off to see the Christmas lights and markets in northern Italy, where our daughter now lives.
What do you least enjoy about this time of year? Especially in England, how early in the afternoon it gets dark.
Just for Fun:
Name one thing that will always be found in your house: Coffee machine ready to go.
Name one thing that will never be found at your house: Soaps on the TV.
Today’s Questions:
When you receive rep comments, do you try to reciprocate? - Not always but the rep sent is much appreciated, in most cases anyway...
Do you ever leave anonymous rep comments? = Yes and the reason is when I do that it is places I do not post in - like the Politics section where I only lurk at times. Figured they don't know me anyway so what's the point. It's a rough crowd over there as I find myself on the opposite side most of the time. Since I do not like to argue...
I am not one of those that leave negative feedback. An unsigned rep comment is better than if one just clicks "rate this post positively" because usually my comments should be good for a smile.
Bonus Questions:
Do you know anyone who has a birthday on a major holiday? - No.
What do you most enjoy about this time of year? - N/A
What do you least enjoy about this time of year? - I find many song lyrics that I am forced to listen to offensive, dumb, and insulting.
Also, the way people act in stores where patience is short, in parking lots where humans get angry with others over parking spaces (seen this many times), more horns blowing (I hate that sound), and a spike in aggressive driving. For those who can't relate to that have no idea what it's like living in an overpopulated area, like here in the Washington, DC - Baltimore metropolitan area.
Just for Fun:
Name one thing that will always be found in your house: - Drinking water
Name one thing that will never be found at your house: - Milk

Word of the Day:
Sine qua non noun /sine kwaː ˈnoːn; also ˌsī-ni-ˌkwā-ˈnän/my mom is one of the few people I know who uses this and doesn't sound fussy about it
Quote of the Day:
Perhaps everything terrible is in its deepest being something helpless that wants help from us.”- Rainer Maria Rilketerrible might be off the spectrum, but generally I ascribe to this and it helps me in my work and life. People don't want to be judged; they want to be understood and accepted. Often antagonism is born of fear or frustration. I try to be mindful of that.
