Public Sleeping Day...didn't do me any good. I told everyone at the C.E. class, but they kept poking me when I nodded off. Said I had to stay awake to get credit for the class. Oh, well, maybe some other time.

I think I got like a dime, maybe once a quarter? I saved my daughters first teeth that they lost, and gave them as a gag kinda gift for christmas a few years ago. They couldn't believed I saved them!

This Tooth Fairy question has me worried about some people who might leave their dentures in a glass of water on the nightstand and find $50 bucks in the morning and the dentures missing.

When I was young and lost a tooth I got a quarter.
My children vary in age, my youngest has not yet lost her first tooth, my oldest is about to turn 21. I think when my oldest was young he got like $1.00-$5.00. My second and third sons got about $5.00. When the gold colored Sacajawea coins came out my sons loved them, so I would give them 2 or 3 "golden coins" as they called them. Worked out costing me less that way!
I almost got caught with my hand underneath the pillow one night years ago. What I tended to do more often was fall asleep and forget the TF was suppose to come!!! The poor child would wake up stunned that the tooth was still there and no money. I would make something up about that she probably had a rush on teeth that night and I bet she would be there that night. I would then really make a point of remembering and maybe slip them another buck for their trouble lol.

I got a quarter,my daughter got a dollar and the oldest grand gets a dollar
except for the time she talked grandpa into bringing one of his from the dentist and she put it under her pillow, he left her a five. I know, this is gross but they both do some strange things together.
The youngest grand has not lost a tooth yet so I suppose she will get a dollar also and this one is a corker so she may try to pull the dogs teeth when she finds out she can get money that easy.
